Mr Bush's spectacularly badly timed visit to London seems certain to cause trouble. Most of use with an ounce of sense know that he is not single-handedly responsible (not for want of trying) for the world's ills - but when you don't know who really runs the US Government (Monkeys? Satan?) he's the only person we can protest against. Although his democratically-elected exclusion zone in the centre of London will probably keep him safely away from any nasty protesters.
I'm starting to think that the only way of getting rid of him is to encourage him, thereby hastening his downfall. I get the feeling the American public (some of which elected him) is starting to tire of its government's excesses. I must be having an optimistic day.
Anyway, if you have a spare hour or two in which you're very bored, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake probably won't change it (the website's better than the film). It's difficult to feel any sympathy for any of the victims (teenagers, American, irritating) or any fear of chief massacre perpetrator Leatherface (overweight Robert Smith in dungarees). Still, some nice colours (or lack of) in it.

Apparently, Loess are the 'next' Boards of Canada. Can't see it myself, really, although their minimal Mogwai brass meanderer Alluvium is quite engaging.
In other news, our house has now had elephant, donkey and pig added to the menagerie, and I thought about redesigning the website. Which is mostly what I do at 'work' - although someone else from work has been looking at my website...
That doesn't really make any sense, does it? Oh well.
